Tone Brewery 6x9x3 Chassis

I have a bunch of 6x9x3 chassis for PSM, IFM and PAM modules. These will be sold at cost as a favor to the AX84 community. My cost was $650 for 44 chassis. Your cost is thus $15 each plus shipping. Thanks to Dave H. for the effort put into making this happen! Since I've spent a pile of money on faith, please consider these before buying Hammond or LMB chassis for your project!

Chassis Pics

There's really only one picture needed. These are not prepunched, but the only difficult holes are the EIC mains connector and the molex thing. Everything else is just drilling. There is a 3/8" lip around the open bottom to accept a cover or mounting screws. The lip is very well done in that there is no overlap at the corner. The short edge lips were notched to accept the long edge lips to form a perfect corner. There's some minor surface scratches consistent with being hand made rather than manufactured. So, a little polishing is in order if you want a perfect face. The aluminum is a full 1/16", very heavy and sturdy for a chassis. Finally, note the welded corners on the inside. These are great!

If you are not able to make the square holes yourself, I'll consider making them for you. However, I only have a drill and nibbler, so it's not easy for me either. If you're willing to add $10 to the cost, I'll make the odd holes for the EIC mains connector and the molex chassis mount socket on top. I do not have extra mains connectors or molex sockets. So, the $10 only covers making the holes.

Wondering if you can fit a full amp in a 6x9x3 chassis?? Well, I'm going to. Here's the chassis with the paper layout plans taped to it ready to start drilling...

Here's the finished back side of the chassis...

Here's the start of the guts. Since the mains and HV lines must run under the turret board and out near the input stages, I'm running them inside of 3/8" copper tubing bolted to the chassis. This amp WILL be free of noise and sqeal.
